Business case development for organisational restructure
- The client put together a mixed team of internal and external experts for a major
organisational restructure and transformation programme for one of their core process areas
- Over the course of a year, we constructed and developed a detailed and granular Excel-based
cost model to predict the future annual saving and cashflow for implementing the programme
- This included modelling the impact of growth on the demand for services
- We undertook online staff surveys to develop a robust activity-based costing structure
- We also developed bespoke decision-support tools in Excel, including a spreadsheet-based
organisational chart and a dynamic mapping tool to output regional distributions on to a heatmap of the UK
- The client is currently in the process of implementing these proposals
